What is Connected Support?

American Implement  has a team dedicated to machine health alerts to help you protect your investment and keep you up and running. Sometimes it helps to have an extra set of eyes on your side doing one thing and one thing only: watching the health and performance of your machines while they work.

HOW IT WORKS:

  1. A machine health alert is sent from the machine to the American Implement Connected Support Team and the alert will be evaluated.
  2. Depending upon the type and severity of the alert, the team member monitoring the alert will reach out to the customer directly or the customer's service team to determine a solution and prevent any potential issues. 


ExpertConnect is the digital thread for centralized and connected support directly to American Implement.

ALERT A TEAM OF ADVISORS

Connect live with a team of experts, reducing missed calls and voicemails. Advisors can answer calls via their mobile app or web dashboard.

AUTOMATED CALL CAPTURE

Calls are automatically captured as a support ticket. Easily track time, add notes about the interaction and categorize the call with ticket tags.

LIVE VIDEO ASSISTANCE

Turn a complex phone conversation into a quick solution over video. Customers can walk you through their issues via a remote video call, reducing the time to resolve the issue.

Newer John Deere equipment comes straight from the factory with advanced monitoring technology already installed. Each machine is ready to alert you when something goes wrong—no matter where you are. Our team can also receive alerts and connect to your equipment to diagnose the problem. American Implement’s Connected Support team is here to remotely monitor and proactively service your machines for increased uptime.

Benefits of connected machines

Having a connected machine enables you to remotely monitor it. You may also give us permissions to monitor your machine so we can let you know if something doesn't look right. Here's what all is included:

  • MACHINE ALERTS Monitor alerts from your machine remotely

Given your consent, we can remotely access your in-cab display to assist with setup and adjustments in near real time for optimal performance. We can also perform remote diagnostics before making a trip to your machine for a repair and perform software updates.

In certain situations, American Implement can make you aware of potential downtime based on machine data. This allows us to remotely diagnose issues and fix them before they become a problem.
